The debate was composed of 3 rounds, each aspirant was given 90 seconds each to answer the question and 60 seconds to rebut their opponent, not including the opening and closing statements of the aspiring presidents.
At the first round, the candidates were asked about their track record and performance. The second round focused on poverty and development and how the candidates will tackle the said issues once they take over the highest position in the country. The third round tackled more issues regarding EDCA, Bangsamoro Law and other issues surrounding Mindanao. Questions for this final round were gathered via social media.

 FIRST ROUND
During the first round, as what the topic was all about, the track record and performance of the aspiring leaders, It is so nice for them to tell all the people what they have done from the past being a leader of our country. This round will be the way to showcase their self in public. It’s the time to impress everybody, and convince for their vote. But I think some of the aspirants, are true to their self. While the other aspirants, just discussed what they have done this past few years. Some of the candidate’s statements were far from what they’ve been advertising to gather sympathy. Well, maybe it’s just their tactics, but then I’m not satisfied with that. All I want to hear is an honest answer from them telling and admitting that they’ve done either good and bad and they learned something from it. Yes I agreed that experience is the best the teacher, but it doesn’t mean that when you’re in the position for too long means you know everything and you can be a leader, because I believed that a true leader must be in discipline, know how to handle obstacles, always in the right side and s good follower. Follower not only just follow what other people says, but a follower wherein he/she is in favor for the right. For this round, even though lot of people saying that Sen. Poe may still be "inexperienced" to become President, but no one can deny that she delivered well during the first debates proving that she really learned a lot in spite of her short years in public service. She came in prepared, she was direct, and she remained collected all throughout. It's also very evident that she looks out for the Filipinos with a genuine heart because she touches on the important issues that need immediate resolution, these are issues that affect the lives of Filipinos every day.
SECOND ROUND
For the second round, the topic was all about poverty and development of the country. For this round, I think everybody have a good intention regarding poverty and other concerns here in our country. But I’m in favor with Sen. Miriam says, which Mayor Duterte agreed, What will be the source of fund in order to implement those solutions/regulations. Because as we notice today, there’s many corrupt, dishonest and fraudulent government officials who fraud, scam and swindle government funds, which primary usage was for the development and support many people in different industry.
I think, this round was not a success, because everybody is just saying what their really plan to solve all those problems. And yes, it is so very easy to make many promises, but then be sure that all of those promises were turn into something which is real, factual and many people can feel that, and not being hammered on a wall. Maybe, yes the topic was all about their plan to solve poverty, but then I think it’s not enough, I want an answer which is next to reality, reality that everybody wants. I want them to show how they going to implement all those plans and platforms and where they will get the fund for it. Is it still from the countrymen by means of increasing the taxes?

THIRD ROUND
The first topic addressed in the third round was about some issues in Mindanao. Some of the candidate tell their plans on how they can solve the problem in Mindanao, but as what I see, they actually avoiding the main topic, instead they come up different details and issues which I think make them standout from everyone and not clearly solve the problem in Mindano.
The next issue was about EDCA or Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, a deal that allows US military to build military bases in the Philippines that strengthen the Philippines defense but loses its sovereignty, was strongly disallowed or rejected by Santiago and Poe. Just what Sen. Santiago says “I am against the EDCA. It should’ve first passed the Senate, not just the executive department…Let us stand for our sovereign rights.” Which Sen. Poe agreed: “I agree with Senator Santiago. The Senate needs to review EDCA. We must put the country’s interests first. We can also strengthen our military, the way Singapore has. Let us take a leadership role in the Asean.” I agreed also with them, because we’ve been invade by other foreign country for about hundred years, and we conquer and overcome. And today it’s about time for us to stand on our own and fight for our country’s liberty. There’s nothing wrong to tie up with other country, but the moment that other foreign country established bases here in country is inappropriate because it means that were also under with them.
The Bangsamoro Basic Law was also discussed in the debate, the question was asked to Poe but she didn’t directly comment on the agreement. Poe instead mentioned that she wanted “transparent, inclusive and sustainable” peace talks as an alternative. Meanwhile Davao City Mayor Duterte pushed for federalism and is open to continue the ongoing talks for the proposed BBL. In this part, it seems that everybody has its own insight regarding BBL, and I’m not in the position to tell what is right and wrong, all I can say is if ever who wins, they should put all of their words into action and not into ash.

MY FINAL WORDS
This 2016 Presidential debate, really open my mind whom I going to vote for this coming 2016 elections. Everybody promoted and indorsed their self to gain sympathized from Filipino people. I just noticed something, some candidates are avoiding some issues to tackle. All candidates are good speaker, but for me that’s not enough to become a leader of our country. All we need is a leader who will make things possible. All of their promises should turn into something which is real. It’s more on presenting data and statistics and not really on proposing solutions. It's a debate not either a talk show or an interview, they should constantly attack their opponents platform and build up their own to give the audience something to actually think about, and make people realized that they deserve a vote to win.

The Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines states that the campaign period for the national candidates starts 90 days before Election Day. Last February 9, 2016, the campaign period for candidates for national positions- president, vice president, and senators- officially begin. For 2016, election fails on May 9- or 3 months after February 9. Campaigns of candidates for national positions will end on My 7, 2016. And for the campaign period for candidates for the House of Representatives and positions in the regional, provincial, city and municipal government runs from March 25 to May 7.

And since the campaign for the national election started. It seems that many politicians from different parties already gave their platforms and plans whenever they win the position. In addition to, lots of advertisement from television, radio, social media and flyers have been introduced gather sympathy and votes.

We all know that during campaign, all candidates will be doing their best just to gather sympathy from different people all over the country. We can witness that, some of the candidates will have different ways, like visiting different provinces, sponsors many activities, join different public activities and even spent much money for their ads.

During this campaign, we can’t never tell that all of those candidates won’t do illegal act of campaign like vote buying or even firing some government officials which they think that against them, and worst killing of some supporters of their rivalry. It so bad, that just because of the election, those scenario happens just because to win the fight. Were in they only have one common goal-to win and to make a difference.

But then, the only question now is, who among those of the candidates really can make a difference and change for our country? Are they good enough to make a change? Are they really going to do their job after they win? That’s only few question that up to now after having many election happens is still a question, and just hammered on a thin wall of fame.

Since we are the citizen of our country, and the one who going to choose who’s going to be our next leader? It’s our responsibility to make a wise decision. We should be smart enough and wise who will going to vote. We don’t need to be fooled from their flowery words, like they make change, do better, wont stand in graft and corruption, will solve poverty, corruption, illegal, drug abuse and even will help the poor. We should bare into our mind, that a good leader should be a good follower, in the sense that they wont stand in the wrong side because it’s the majorities choice of his administration instead of, he will stand for the right and fight for the right.

PAINKILLERS

People tend to change when they hurt or experience being broken. Some just walk away in order to escape from being miserable in pain. But do we really can escape from pain?

Some people, have their so called “Painkillers” to withdraw their self from the pain that burden them and put their lives in an agony. An agony that been there once we are in pained, because of some circumstances. Yet it is true in our human nature, because it harness us to real world or in the reality. A reality that made us all human and not a stagnant being.

But is this Painkillers we are depending once we are in pain, really ease the pain? Yes in some way, but, the truth is, painkillers doesn’t ease the pain, it just cover up the pain for a short period of time. Once this painkillers gone in our body, still we can feel the pain that ever since we try to hide.
Somehow, for others, painkillers really ease the pain, but they didn’t know that we can’t really run from it. Because painkillers is just a drug that decreases or removes pain that we feel in our body for a just short period of time.
For us to ease the pain that burden us, we should embrace the pain that make us weak. Embracing by means of accepting the fact that we are in pain, and we are grieving for a short while. We are trying to divert the pain into some feelings that help us to restore our self that been broken because of the pain that we felt.

Accepting the reality of pain is one of the best way to ease this pain. By means of fighting this pain and never allow this to ruined our self. Don’t let this pain come within our self and control us. Because in the end it is us who’s going to lose, it is us who never knew the real you. Because we let this pain changed us from some one who is far differ from the way we used to be. We let this pain control us and turn us into a un-examined living whos didn't know their purpose here in earth.

Stonger Than Before

It’s really a bad and wretched for Mindorinos before the year 2105 ends. Because a tropical storm named Nona had its landfall in some towns of Mindoro. We can’t blame anyone for this tragedy that happens with our life, some lost their love ones, while others lost their houses and some properties.

And It is my first time to experience this kind of natural hazard, which about to destroy our house and other properties. As I took one footage of how strong the typhoon Nona, I realized that if it is so strong here in our place, how much more in some place which actually the typhoon had its Landfall. Below is my footage how strong typhoon Nona was.

After the typhoon had its landfall, It seems that there is another life God given to us, because they keep  us alive despite of typhoon, yet some of our properties were destroy. A day after the typhoon had its landfall, I was given a chance to witness how bad the condition in some places in Calapan like Bucayao and Bayanan I & II, Town of Naujan and Victoria. I saw with my naked eye, the total destruction of houses, schools, ricefields, electric post and many trees that fall along the National road of Oriental Mindoro. I realized that, were still lucky that we still have a house to shelter, because as I witnessed I saw the bad condition of the evacuation area were people chose to live because they loss their houses, and I realized also how hard to stay in a place where in many people share one room and food for them to survived.
(pictures below was taken a day after the typhoon by your's truly:blogger)

We can’t avoid this kind of delinquent because our country was located to the Pacific Ring of Fire. But still we can do something in order for us to minimize the damage of this destructive natural hazard. It’s about time for us to awake from the unhelpful deeds we done with our environment in the past. Take control with our actions which destroy our mother earth.
But even though our country faced this kind of problem, still we can see how strong Filipinos are, like what Vice Ganda said "Kapit lang Sabi ng Tarsier". We can see how Filipinos helped each other for the fastest and full recovery of each and everyone  of one. Still we can see people smiling despite of many problem, because we believed that there's still a chances and life for all us, all we have to do is to stand up and continue fighting and fighting.
